Hello, Official Military Skate family!cate
2022 will soon be coming to an end. I just want to say thank you so much to everyone that has supported us throughout this year. It has been an exciting and eventful year for our brand! To recap, here are some amazing things that happened this year:
- CEO of Official Military Skate’s name was featured on the back of new skateboarding magazine, “Closer” skateboarding magazine, for being one of its first subscribers
- We officially launched the production of our Official Military Skate merch and apparel. If you haven’t already done so, please check out online story at militaryskate.com
- We held our 4th annual Veteran’s Day skate session, hosted by OC Ramps. Thank you to everyone that made the event possible and a special thanks to Cody McEntire for being our special guest.
- We had our 2nd annual game of SKATE between the different branches of service. The Space Force representative defended his title for the second year in a row.
- We had our own military veteran edition of X Games “Real Street” contest, where several handpicked veteran skateboarders were asked to film a video part up to 2 minutes in length. Congratulations to Michael Montes for winning!
- We established a brand ambassador, sponsorship program. Welcome to the team Wes Wallace, Anthony Avila, Nicole Noller, Robbie Rodriguez, Tim Navarette, and Fernando Pena!
- Army Veteran, Sean Weikel, filmed an incredible video channel for our Youtube. The video was filmed by none other than skateboarding legend, Gershon Mosley!
- CEO of Official Military Skate, Zachary Sales, was featured on podcasts from Betamalehawk, FreeLadyCo, Ranger Cortes, and Urban Valor.
- Raised over 1000 dollars for veteran nonprofit, Six Feet Above (sixfeetabove.org) , with CEO of Official Military Skate’s Instagram birthday fundraiser post.
Thank you to everyone who made all of these accomplishments possible. We look forward in trying to outdo ourselves in 2023!
Much love from us at Official Military Skate !
